Every week, I celebrate the lovely little (and sometimes big!) bits of bliss that happened throughout those 7 days!
Bear hug that attitude of gratitude :: feels good, doesn’t it!? :: Join me!
Big bliss:
Have you ever cried during a TV show? I’m sure most of you have. But have you actually sobbed…like, pretty much weep? Well, I had my first time experiencing that!
Before I say anything…you must watch this feature from the XFactor:
Jillian Jensen’s heart sung volumes to all those who have been bullied. For me, someone who has been bullied, I could go back to the pain…I could feel her pain…I felt the peace she received after her performance and the unconditional love from her family. I just love this. And I love her.
Litte bits of bliss:
- My hair is totally blissed out. I found a new shampoo and conditioner from Aveda called Invati. I have very fine, thin, wispy hair and after a few days of washing and styling with Invati, I look like a good ol’ gal from Texas! Big hair is my favorite 🙂 Fair warning…if you’re looking for a good lather, you may want to skip this one. But, it has all these fabulous ingredients in it that truly nourish the scalp and help you achieve a lovely mane!
- I bought Frankie a bone and ever since, he will chew for a bit and then decide he needs to “bury it.” Of course, we don’t have dirt in our home, but he tries to find other suitable places like under a blanket or in the couch cushion. But…the cutest part is that he gently whines as he tries to find a place like no other. Adorable.
- The last days of summer heat in Minnesota are meant to be experienced by a lake. I met up with Bryan’s side of the family at Lord Fletcher’s a Lake Minnetonka institution, it was great to feel the breeze of the lake and enjoy a glass of wine al fresco.
- I’ve been working hard on an event close to my heart…an International Day of Peace celebration with Peace Begins With Me at The Marsh in Minnetonka, Minnesota. It’s a community celebration with global intention…if you’re in MN come and join us!
Incredible video Blair. Thank you for sharing. I don’t share your pain or her’s since I do not remember being bullied, but it’s profound to see someone who has been through so much pain and to come out and sing like she did with all of her emotions and vulnerability, was incredible. I will share the video. I feel everyone needs to see it.
It gives me chills! Thanks for sharing the video and that you see the power in her amazing story! Hope you have a great week, Suzanne!
