Hi friends — it’s almost 2013 — can you believe it? I have to say, I am going to welcome this new year with an open heart.
I was planning on a New Year post, but 2012 still has other plans…
I lost my dear Grandmother yesterday. As beautiful as she was on the outside, her soul was just as radiant…I want to give her a fitting tribute, but my sadness is still too fresh.
So, here is a little post I wrote about her earlier this year. I titled it ‘The wisdom that remains.’ Hanky had Alzheimer’s, yet still was filled with joyful wisdom…inspiration only a grandmother can give that we all can take in to 2013. ♥
Please understand that I may not be posting very often this coming week due to family gatherings and the funeral. Here is her obituary and guest book if you are interested. I know she is reading them, and thanking everyone for the love and kindness.
Love to you all as you enter 2013. It is going to be a GREAT year filled with gentleness and blooming for all.
