With the Little Bliss List, I’m celebrating the lovely little things, and one big thing, that happened throughout my week! I find it’s a great way to find and attitude of gratitude!
Hope you will join me!
Big, big bliss this week:
My husband turns 30 TODAY! Over the nine years that we have been together (5 dating/4 married), I could not ask for a more thoughtful, silly, fun-loving, talented, passionate, patient, open partner.
I can’t spoil any details right now, but I’m whisking him away on a short vacay this weekend filled with all his favorite things. I’m so looking forward to making the day all about him—he truly deserves it. Can’t wait!!
My bitty bliss:
- I got to sleepover at my parents house for three nights this week! I am very fortunate to have parents that I adore hanging out with. The hubs had a producer in from Nashville and I decided to give them some space. Thus—packed my bags and grabbed my pup and headed over to the parents! Nothing like sleeping in your old bed…
- I took a short trip about an hour north of the Twin Cities to visit my Grandma. She’s in an assisted living home, and not doing the best. Even though she may not be the exact image of Grandma I knew growing up, any time I get to spend with her, and see that special twinkle in her eyes, I enjoy.
- Colors in nature have really seemed to pop for me lately. I’ll catch myself gazing at the vibrant greens of the grasses, the bright yellow and powerful purple of the flowers, and the big, expansive pool of a sky. Nature is pretty amazing, if you take time to notice!

Have a happy weekend, everyone!
What a great week! Love your list. The nature piece really hit home for me as this has become so important for me in my daily life. I am constantly amazed at the beauty around us, even in the things that we wouldn’t normally consider beautiful.
Thanks Michele! I love falling into nature. It’s so healing!
Great week! Happy Birthday to your hubby. Never too old for a sleepover and nice you could visit with your Grandmother. I love nature … the amazing colors … I seem to calm my soul just being outside.
Thank you! Hope you had a wonderful week as well! xo
