With the Little Bliss List, I’m celebrating the lovely little, and big, things that happened throughout my week! It’s a great way to find and attitude of gratitude! Hope you will join me!
The little things:
Happy birthday to my special furry boy—FRANKIE! My tender-hearted, cowardly lion of a pup is turning 3 (or 21, in human years) today! We’re going to celebrate like all 3/21 year-olds should, with toys, special treats, and plenty of playtime with friends and family!
- I got to experience a concert of epic proportions…Aerosmith and Cheap Trick at the Target Center! Everybody together now…“Sweeeeeeeeet emotioooooon….”
- Father’s Day sugar-high from YoYo Donuts, sorry pops, had to steal a couple…too hard to resist!
- My baby sis turned 23! And we ate, and ate, and ate at Colette, a French restaurant in the Twin Cities…let’s see: bread and butter, fried goat cheese, truffle mac and cheese, salmon with risotto, and of course, dark, decadent chocolate cake! I’m still full!
- Meeting up with former co-workers (but, most importantly, friends) for coffee and a chat made me so happy—nothing like a some girlfriend time to put a huge smile on my face! And one of those special ladies sent me some gorgeous peonies (my favorite) and ranunculus in honor of my tinybuddha post!
- A fulfilled a dream when I got to work backstage at a professional runway show complete with models direct from New York City! The Nordstrom Fall Fashion Preview featured designers like Chanel (eee!!!), St. John, Marni, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Gucci, Michael Kors, and more—it was amazing to be able to work with my favorite kind of art!
My big thing:

Hope you’re not sick of me talking about this yet…still so thrilled that a part of my story about bullying, Speaking Up When You’re Bulled, in School and Beyond, is featured on tinybuddha!I am completely humbled by those who have read my story, and have reached out. I am reenergized and inspired to continue to share my stories, and encourage acceptance, and help those who are experiencing bullying in any capacity.Thank you, thank you, thank you for reading and sharing my story. Love to you all!

Have a happy weekend, everyone!
So much goodness, where to start!? Kay, first, that concert sounds awesome! I’m sure both bands would have put on an amazing show–those guys are true, old school performers!! I’m glad you got to spend time with people you love (and who obviously love you) and doing something you love (sounds fancy!). And your post on bullying was…so brave and spectacular. Beautifully done. Hope this week treats you just as kindly. xx
Muchas gracias, Lorinda! It seriously, was one of the best weeks I can recall from this year, so far…of course! 😉 Happy Sunday! xo
Sounds like you had a great week. I loved your post over at the Tiny Buddha.
You’re so kind, Michele – thank you!
