Letting things go is most certainly another theme in my year of change.
In the past few weeks, especially, I have been doing a lot of releasing the old, and brining in the new. And you know what, it is simply exhausting…but this work yields a beautiful reward if you allow it!
And I’m allowing it. Blogging has taken a back seat for a bit, so has work, hanging out with friends, and tidying up the house. Enter: more meditating, resting, time with my husband and family, lots of acupuncture, allowing the now, painting, and playing video games. Let me explain…:)
I am a bit of a closeted Nintendo nerd. A few Christmases ago, the husband and I received a Wii, and while we appreciate the new-school games, we are purists, and love classic games like Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, etc. So…while I’ve been on the mend, we bought a few of our favorites to play. And let me tell you, it brought back some fun memories, and simply, it’s good to just “tune out” with some mind-numbing 2D characters in a fantasy land. While we waited for our games to upload, I noticed this message on the screen:
I did a double take. I SO needed this message!
DO NOT SHUT DOWN
(yes, things feel very uncomfortable in the in-between right now, but keep going)…
UPDATING
(well thank goodness! Keep letting the negative go and bringing the good in!)…
PLEASE WAIT A MOMENT
(OK, I’m going to come out of this all pretty and new! YES! Good things are on their way)…
Do you like my nerdy psycho-analysis that I found in my Wii? I truly believe there are messages everywhere (seriously) for us to uncover.
So…I’m happy to be back on the blog front. Of course, I’m still living day-by-day, but I am really feeling I’m on the up-swing. There will always being things to let go, and to update. And when that happens for all of us…just allow it. Take the time you need. Be present.

Blair I just love the psycho-analysis you did from your Wii. I agree there are messages everywhere. I enjoyed reading about it and seeing how you are doing too. xo
