You guys. I am so excited.
This may not come as a surprise, but the world is changing in a big way. Old ways of thinking are starting to show some cracks, and we have an opportunity to speed the transformative process along by getting ’em crumbling.
Throughout these faster-than-a-speeding-bullet six months, I’ve come across a few “old ways” of thinking that I’m trying to buck. Or, think of it as trying to “un-break” the wild stallion (metaphor, peeps, metaphor).
Won’t you join me in getting back to our wild roots? No longer do you have to struggle to achieve whatever it is that you want!
Some new thoughts to try out…
You do not have to swim upstream to achieve your dream
Many people in the world think you need to beat down doors, cyber-stalk, and claw your way to “the top.”
While I believe in putting dedication in to achieve your dream, it can also come more simply:
Go with the flow! Be in a place of yes! Allow! Expect! Believe!
Just because someone achieved something amazing in a certain way, does not mean it’s your way
This is a big one for me. I am constantly comparing myself to others, and how “they did it.”
So exhausting.
There are endless “right” paths, only you can pen your story the way you want it to go—easy peasy!
Accept nothing less than butterflies
{and sparkles, and fairy dust, and sundaes with sprinkles, and rainbows, and puppies with wrinkles!}
It may sound cheesy, but why settle for anything less?
If you don’t feel that warm, fuzzy internal glow when you talk about something (or someone) that you love—maybe it’s time to reevaluate!
Throw on your favorite rose-colored glasses and say, “the world is beautiful, baby!”
There is nothing wrong with being a positive, glass-full, optimistic person. In fact, the world is in complete need of more of them.
If you’re wearing rose-colored glasses proudly, you will be manifesting more beauty, more light, more awesome-ness.
And, they look good on you, hot stuff!
There is plenty of time
Do you find yourself always saying…”Who has time for that?” “I don’t have an extra minute in the day to {fill in the blank}”
Don’t be fooled by the clock, if you want to do something, you can.
Carve out a little extra space to honor your wants (and needs!)
You can teach an old dog new tricks!
It is never, ever, EVER too late to figure out what you’re a total natural at and what makes your heart happy.
Losing track of what we truly want (unfortunately) can be easy, but getting your mojo back IS possible!
Take one simple step toward your inner-most desire and see what happens. It could be a class, making a simple, new connection, or changing your thought patterns toward your goal!
There has not been nearly enough running wild or bucking of traditions in my life but I’m working on it. More fairy dust please!!
Go for it! I’ll send you some good vibes 😉 xo
