I made my first herbal infused honey with bee balm (Monarda fistulosa)!

I am telling you, the taste is divine!

Bee balm is an herb you want to befriend often, but I am thinking this honey will be wonderful during the winter when we’re more likely to experience colds… it can be supportive and soothing for sore and burning throats, coughs, fever, stomach aches, UTIs, and even candida. Great for inflammation and irritation.

Honestly there’s so much more that this herb supports, so that’s just the start. Either way, it’s super yummy and tastes soothing and purifying.

Very excited! Just need to make more next season!

This is one of my #1 herbal remedies for this time. Oatstraw or milky oat tops are amazing for repairing and soothing your nervous system. Not to mention all that is detailed in the photo!

My preferred way of taking this medicine is through an herbal infusion. A 4-hour to overnight steep of the dried herb. Then I drink about 16-20 oz of it a day as needed. It sounds like a lot, but it tastes so delicious! It must mean my body needs it :)
