Every Friday, ERR, Sunday, I celebrate the lovely little (and sometimes big!) bits of bliss that happened throughout my week!
Bear hug that attitude of gratitude :: feels good, doesn’t it!? :: Join me!
Wow…I haven’t missed a Friday Bliss List in, well, quite awhile! Sunday bliss is just as blissful, right!?
My big bliss this week:
This week, I was awesomely surprised (all surprises should be awesome) with a feature on Savvy.mn’s website as the ‘blog of the week!’ Sweet!
Savvy.mn is a magazine and online publication aimed at women in Minnesota. It is my first “write up” about The Turquoise Heart and it is so exciting to see that someone noticed my passion! I feel so grateful and excited for the love! Check out the article here, or click on the photo below!
THANK YOU AGAIN, SAVVY.MN!
Last night, I met a lovely someone at a party who has also experienced a miscarriage. Our stories brought up past pain, but we ended up helping both of us in the process. I haven’t had many face-to-face conversations with someone else who has gone through what I have. It may sound weird to be “blissful” about it, but it is very comforting to speak so frankly, openly, and honestly about our experiences. Here’s to all of you who have gone through this…may your heart be healed and joy-filled again!
Little bits of bliss:
- Hello autumn! My favorite three months of the year are upon us! Mornings are cool and the afternoons are breezy and warm. Perfection. Don’t tell…but I’ve already started transitioning cozy knits and cool-day boots into my closet…now I just can’t wait to start wearing them! Stay tuned for a few savoring fall-related posts in the upcoming weeks!
- Can you say: “peanut butter hot fudge custard?” OK…you know I strive to live a healthy life, but once in awhile, you’ve gotta indulge, right? Check out my “ode to America” food-bliss at Culver’s!
(don’t worry, I shared it with my hubby!)
- Uhh…do you remember the game Uno!? So, I guess I pretty much rock at it! My family and I played a few rounds this weekend…family game night is the best!
- And, here’s a pic of Frankie my peculiar puggle just being himself 😉

Congratulations Blair on being chosen Blog of the Week for Savvy.MN. Beautifully written. It’s so nice that you had the opportunity to meet someone else who has gone through a miscarriage like you have. A thank you for sending a blessing for those who have experienced this, and that they be able to have a healed heart and be joy-filled again. Beautiful. I couldn’t help but wonder why I was all teary when I read this. I have never lost a child in the sense that you did but I have experienced intensive grief at losing the child I could have had when my son was later diagnosed with autism at age 3. I had to grieve all the dreams I ever had for him. There’s still some tenderness there for me with this obviously. Thank you for bringing that up in me, so I can heal it more deeply and be more joy-filled again. xo
Hi lovely Suzanne! Thank you so much for all this. Blessings to you always surrounding your son, tenderness is always OK, but know you are surrounded by so much light, love, and joy. And so is he! xo 🙂
