We’re almost there…12/21/12.
It has been a year that has flown by. A year with ocean-deep emotions, chapter-turning changes and pop-the-champagne glorious news…sometimes all occurring in a single month. It has been a lot. You’ve held on. And all has ultimately been for the greater good.
As you reflect on 2012, do you feel as you were reprogrammed? Did you have new software installed? Downloaded lots of new information?
I do (but I think most of you know that by now!).
This year has been a time of completion (in fact recognized by many cultures, including the Mayans, as the end of a 26,000 year cycle). We have been uncovering. Reconnecting to our hearts and souls. Moving out of strictly just thinking from the mind. We all worked on clearing out the old, what doesn’t serve us…in order to leap into the future.
Tomorrow, is an ending of sorts. If you choose, it is saying goodbye to the parts of you in the past that you no longer wish to burden yourself with.
Actually, see it as a beginning. An opening. A gateway to change. A dream coming true.
It is a time of taking back the pen…feel the ability to write your story as your heart and soul feels fit.
If you take a look back, for a long time we have *felt* that someone else (whoever that may be…boss, parent, partner, etc.) was holding your fate. Giving you subtle clues along the way as to what to expect in your future. Living day-by-day doing what you were “supposed to do”. All along, you held the power of choice and ability deep within yourself the whole time. The light scared you. Your power made you dizzy and you decided to shut it down. How can I be that amazing? Then came this year.
Cracks started showing up in your facade. Opening up hurts. But after the pain subsided, light began to emit from you. Sparkly, white and gold light filled with the sound of a thousand angels singing your praise. At first, there felt like some confusion, an underlying wanting to patch up your cracks and go back to that one-track lane where you felt what “life is supposed to be.”
Life isn’t “supposed” to be anything. Life is your story. Not his, hers or mine. IT IS YOURS. You do not have to be on the same track as everyone else to be “right.”
It can be a freaky notion to get used to at first. We’ve all been programmed to mindlessly graze with the herd.
Then the flashes began to hit as fast as a lightning strike. It happened countless times this year. But you didn’t feel it in your mind like you normally would, you felt it in your heart. True soul essence was emerging…and it called to you…asking you to play (yes, play!). It’s telling you things like:
This is a taste of what’s behind the door (if you choose to open it) this Friday. What I am encouraging myself to do is to stay in loving, happy, excited light. We were all called upon the Earth, each one of us, at this time to experience this Universal shift.
It will be a shift to a way of living we all have forgotten along the way…one of harmony, peace and getting back to nature. Being whole.
More people will be awakening and being re-born into their divine selves.
Don’t be afraid of your light. You have so much untapped ability that you can offer yourself and the world. You really do.
Are you doing anything to honor the day? I will be participating in a few meditations, but am looking for more suggestions — so I’d love to hear ’em!
Blessings to you all 🙂
Such a beautiful and wondrous post Blair! I’ve been feeling rather…like nothing and yet everything all at once lately. Hoping tomorrow brings a shift from that. Enjoy your celebrations! xoxo
I appreciate that so much Lorinda 🙂 I understand where you are coming from – lots of shifting – hope you’re feeling more “centered” – xo!
2012 certainly has been a year of Transformation for me there’s no doubt in my mind. And the years leading up to this year have been transformative in their own unique ways also.
I’m reading your lovely post after 12:21:12. I had the 12:21:12 day planned out but it seems that not much turned out as I wish it could have had, there seemed to be a lot of family demands that day. It was evening before I got to have my own space… which was a better part of that evening spent quietly creating a few mandalas and being in a meditative state as I created them. I totally relate and get everything you wrote in your post. I love how you are able to piece the words together for what it all means. xo
Glad you were able to find some quiet, reflection time – it can be elusive some days more than others (especially when you “want” it!) 🙂 Hope you’re feeling great!
