Oh Palm Springs, how I love you. It has been a few years since I’ve visited, but in honor of Coachella coming up this weekend (can someone please take me in their carry on?), I’ve put together a short list of some fun things to do while in this desert oasis:
1. Sip a St. Germain cocktail by the pool (or floating in the pool) at the Viceroy
2. Eat like Sinatra at Lord Fletcher’s (not to be confused with Minnesota’s version)
3. Road trip it to Joshua Tree National Park
4. Hike Tahquitz Canyon
5. Have a slice or two at Matchbox Vintage Pizza Bistro
6. Travel to the top of Mount San Jacinto via the Aerial Tramway
7. Order the huevos rancheros and a bloody mary at Cheeky’s
8. Try the curry at Thai Smile, a local favorite
9. Rent a bike and pedal around town — it’s the best way to experience the awesome architecture
10. Shop, dance, eat and drink all the way up and down Palm Canyon Drive
11. Take in the Palm Springs Follies show and it will leave you excited to grow old
12. Tired yet? Caffiene up at Koffi
{What are your favorite things to do in Palm Springs?}
Love this list! Not for Coachella, but the husband and I are staying there first weekend in May – gonna follow this list! : )
Thanks Maria! You are going to have so much fun! Once you’re back, feel free to leave some other suggestions on this list for others!
Enjoy! xx
To Maria, this link will have about 4 pages of articles. If you have questions, email us via the page and we’d be happy to help!

Thanks Vic! I’ll check out the link – can’t wait to be in sunny Palm Springs!
Good list and all fun! And depending on the season, it varies. What I love about writing for this area is the subject matter is amazing. I’d add Village Fest on Thursday nights, the Museum that day from 4-till 8 is free; and the art and furniture galleries as you eat and drink you way Uptown!
Thanks for your suggestions, Vic! Can’t wait to come back and try these!
great advice.i will try it…………..
